Thursday, May 10, 2007, Sarah fainted at school. She was taken to a local ER & then transported to Phoenix Children's Hospital with a diagnosis of restrictive cardiomyopathy.

July 5, 2007 Sarah received her new heart. However, during the transplant she suffered a massive stroke that left her paralyzed.

Voice Update

Mom and Dad's picture

Hi everybody. Sarah started talking yesterday, she still sound like she is trying to get over a sore throat so her voice sounds very scratchy. Even with her voice the way it is now I can hear her better than before the surgery. Sarah will be seeing the E.N.T doctor this Friday, lets pray that her vocal cord is still filled with medication that thickened it up. If this surgery is a sucess she will have to go through another throat surgery to thicken up her vocal permanently. Amber is also doing better, she is up and around a lot more. There is no school this week, so it will give the girls plenty of time to recooperate even more. Thank you all for reading, and I will give more updates as the week goes by.
God Bless,
Sarah and Ambers Parents
