Thursday, May 10, 2007, Sarah fainted at school. She was taken to a local ER & then transported to Phoenix Children's Hospital with a diagnosis of restrictive cardiomyopathy.

July 5, 2007 Sarah received her new heart. However, during the transplant she suffered a massive stroke that left her paralyzed.

No Talking - Day Three

Mom and Dad's picture

Hi everybody. Everything seems to be going just fine today. Sarah sounds like she is trying to get over a very bad sore throat, but will see how it goes tomorrow when she starts talking. Sarah has been up and around, and looks alot better, she is no longer asking for pain medication. Amber, we think had an allergic reaction to her pain medication, but once her dad gave her some benadryl she felt better. Amber also has been up and walking today, and she also looks better today. I hope this family has seen the last of outpatient surgeries for a while. Some time off of always being worried would be nice, but then again is that really an option for parents? Thank you all for keeping up with all the updates. It sure is a good feeling knowing that you are all out there supporting us with thoughts and prayers.

God Bless You All,
Sarah and Ambers Parents
