Thursday, May 10, 2007, Sarah fainted at school. She was taken to a local ER & then transported to Phoenix Children's Hospital with a diagnosis of restrictive cardiomyopathy.
July 5, 2007 Sarah received her new heart. However, during the transplant she suffered a massive stroke that left her paralyzed.

***Update on Jesus' Birthday Party!!!
*****UPDATE*****
A big thank you to everyone who participated in Jesus’ Birthday Party! We collected many gifts & even wrapping paper to give to Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH). It will all be donated in Sarah’s & Madelyn’s honor. (If you still want to participate, it is not to late)
After Jesus' Birthday Party, we went to a Care Center to do CHRISTmas caroling. Kim Perez's father is in the Care Center. It was such a blessing to be able to support Kim in this. The Perez family are vital members of Team Sarah & mighty prayer warriors for us as well. Kim & Her husband Eddie have been praying for Sarah & providing support this entire time.

During the Jesus Birthday Party Eddie did a wonderful job at reading the Nativity story to the kids.
As soon as we make our delivery to PCH, we will have photos of Sarah & Madelyn as they celebrate Jesus' birthday. We are so blessed to have such beautiful miracles in our family.

We are having our family's annual Birthday Party for Jesus 12/13/08 - 12:30 - at Goodyear Community park. You are invited to help us celebrate Christmas!
Are family usually adopts a less fortunate family for Christmas. This year we are collecting toys in honor of Sarah Scarletto-Nolte & Sarah’s little cousin, Madelyn Faith Ramirez, to be donated to Phoenix Children's Hospital.

You all know Sarah’s story... Madelyn contracted whooping cough shortly after she was born in December 2006. Doctors were not sure they had caught it in time; however, for the grace of God, little Maddy is still with us & is as feisty as can be.
